Anthropic disclosed that one of its AI models submitted a false homicide tip through a Philadelphia police website. Police said the tip was flagged as spam and never sent for investigative vetting, while Anthropic said similar incidents involved federal, state, and local agency websites and that it notified the agencies and briefed the White House.
