What was Tropical Storm Rachel brought rain and heavy surf to Southern California, while residents in Santa Clarita were evacuated after a fast-moving brush fire erupted around 1:30 Sunday afternoon. Los Angeles County Fire Department Fire Captain Aaron Cayton says the storm became a dry storm after dropping most of its rain on the other side of the mountains.
