On Thursday, a 16-year-old Bend, Oregon, resident shot through Silver Rail Elementary’s locked doors, killing three children ages five, eight and eleven, and a teacher. A seven-year-old child and another teacher were critically injured, while a bystander killed the suspect at the scene. The motive remains under investigation.
