Two-and-a-half-year-old Bisan returned to Gaza in March after two years in Egyptian hospital and care-home settings, following her premature evacuation with 28 other babies. An Israeli strike in October 2023 killed her sister and injured her mother, Soundus, and Bisan now sleeps in a tent and freezes when explosions sound.
