BBC Africa Eye reported that police shot and killed mourners Vincent Ogutu, Evans Kichei, and Gida Burka at a Nairobi stadium during a farewell for former Kenyan prime minister Raila Odinga. Kenya’s Interior Minister Kiptumbe Murkomen said action would follow an investigation, while police acknowledged lessons were needed.
