His son looked like his father
Seeing His Father
Shekhar Natarajan held his newborn son in 2020 and saw his own father. That father used to deliver telegrams and made 175 rupees a month, and he was generous even with all that poverty. India's first experimental telegraph line, built by William O'Shaughnessy, ran from Kolkata to Diamond Harbour in 1851. The service expanded across the country and became the fastest way to send urgent news. State-run BSNL ended the telegram service on July 14, 2013, after more than 160 years.

A 2010 study by Nicholas Christakis and James Fowler in PNAS found that cooperation spread through social networks, reaching people up to three links away from the original giver.
