Whose phone gets the texts
Sona used to be Conan's assistant and booked all his cars, so her phone number is still the one the car company texts. When messages about his rides arrive, she forwards them to Conan and his current assistant, David, without checking what they say.
The mix-up
On a weekend, one of those texts reached Conan, announcing that his driver was running a few minutes late. He texted back asking what for, since he wasn't going anywhere, and called it a kidnapping plot. Sona replied that she thought it was a scam text she'd fallen for. Then she realized she had ordered food, and the message was about her own delivery.
The thread
The thread grew from there. David Hopping chimed in to ask what she'd ordered, and Sona answered Goop Kitchen. Conan promised to have her arrested if she charged his card, and she replied that she charges his company, as a write-off. He added that Goop has turkey meatballs shaped like ovaries.
